The pioneer Institutes for research fellowships and lectureship; CSIR & UGC had conducted the joint NET exam. This exam is conducted twice every year, once in June and second time in December.
NET is National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureships.
The main objective to conduct this exam is to select the eligible and talented candidates for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureships.
CSIR-UGC: NET Exam
The CSIR-UGC: NET Exam was conducted successfully on 23 & 30 June this year. After a thorough preparation the students had enthusiastically applied for this exam. Now those candidates are eagerly waiting for their results to be declared.
The results are usually declared after 1-2 months post the conduct of the examination. So the results are expected to be declared after August end.

It is to be noted that this exam is conducted jointly by CSIR & UGC for Junior Research Fellowship i.e. JRF & to check for the eligibility for lectureship. All the students who are interested to gain a decent fellowship or to pursue a career as a lecturer, then a serious preparation for NET is needed and mandatory too to clear the score. After the successful conduct of June NET Exam, the students were eagerly waiting for the December NET conduct of CSIR & UGC.
