About TET Exams-

TET (Teacher’s Eligibility Test) exam in conducted by every State Education Board for the candidates who want to teach in Schools (Private or Government). TET Exam qualification is now become eligibility criteria for the candidates to appear in the teacher’s recruitment exams. The candidates who have a valid score card of TET examination can apply for the Government Teacher’s Recruitment and can join teacher’s profession in any state board afflicted school.

TET 2013 Exam pattern:

TET 2013 consists of two objective type question papers in two phases. Each TET Exam paper will consist of 150 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). Each correct answer will be rewarded 1 marks totaling for 150 marks.

Appear in papers for
Paper I : To become teachers for classes I-V in Andhra Pradesh primary school.
Paper II : To become teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Andhra Pradesh upper primary school.
Paper I and II: For those candidates who interested in teaching from Class I to VIII. They can appear for both the papers and have to get qualifying marks to be considered for all the classes.

TET 2013 Exam Scheme:
TET 2013 Paper I (for classes I to V): Duration of examination – one-and-a-half hours
TET 2013 Paper II (for classes VI to VIII): Duration of examination – one-and-a-half hours

Teachers Eligibility Test 2013-
APTET 2013 Paper I (for classes I to V):

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(v) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
Total 150 MCQs 150 Marks

Teachers Eligibility Test 2013-
APTET 2013 Paper II (for classes VI to VIII):

(i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv)(a) For Mathematics and Science teacher: Mathematics and Science(b) For Social Studies/Social Science teacher: Social Science(c) For any other teacher: either (a) or (b) 60 MCQs60 MCQs 60 Marks60 Marks

 

Qualification Marks for TET 2013-

  • Lakhs  of students of every state are waiting for the results, Any candidate who scores 60% or more in  TET exam 2013 the exam will be considered as pass. (May be different for different states)
  • State Govt. May consider giving concessions to persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently able persons, etc., in
